How Can You Respond?
- Volunteer in one of our sponsored ministries.
- Donate to the congregation (a little or a lot) by mail or online (outright gift, memorial, annuity, will, or five-year pledge to the campaign).
Our Current Priorities and Needs
- "Adopt" a sister for a month at one of our retirement residences: Aston, PA; Ringwood, NJ; Tacoma, WA ($4,500/month).
- Sponsor a family at St. Mary's Franciscan Shelter: ($5,000/two months—minimum for working on a plan for independence).
- Fund counseling for a family at St. Joseph Family Center, Spokane, WA: ($85/session; $340 for couples for sessions adequate for relationship healing).
- Provide a one-year scholarship for an inner-city child at The Catholic High School of Baltimore, Baltimore, MD: ($10,000/year).
- Provide funding for a caregiver's respite weekend at the Franciscan Spiritual Center-Aston, PA; Franciscan Spiritual Center-Milwaukie, OR; or Franciscan Spiritual Center at Mount St. Francis-Ringwood, NJ: ($150/weekend).
- Provide transportation and lunch for school children to visit Red Hill Farm in Aston, PA to learn about foods and the earth: ($275/busload).
- Contribute to the Canticle Garden in memory or in honor of a friend or relative: ($500 to $1,000).
